Knut De Swert (1978) is a PHD-candidate and teaching assistent in the field of Political Communication.

As a co-founder of the Electronical News Archive (ENA), most of his recent research is looking into television news: representation of political parties and interest groups, news source diversity, trivialisation, sensationalisation etc.

Other areas of interest: the extreme right and the media, political agendasetting.
